Well, I have got a low APM generally, but in fights my APM grows to 150-300 (depend on units, how good i play that day, and so on). But i have also played much lately, which improved my APM. First you need to get an overview over the battle, and then your micro will simply almost automatically improve, and that will raise your APM

i can manage to micro just ok while under 50 food... but after 50 food things get pritty difficult. And sometimes my macro suffers alot... just have to play more and more

if you see focus fpvod you will see he is changing 3 control groups all the time... its was realy sick. i couldnt clearly see everything :)

u'll sweat within couple of games, with 200apm, sometime chilling in a game is better, if ur opp is not very strong :D

having 500+ apm in the first two minutes without spam "ok", my lie detector says; BEEP BEEP.

PS: Rainbow a while back had sick APM for the one who asked for high APM pros, don't know if has been decreasing lately though.

me and my friends have like 120 apm and we beat ppl who have like 180-200. it only matters heaps if someones got like 50 vs 150.

APM= potential micro. Although it's not a big thing you can't get really good micro without decent APM.

just spam :D but spam is good for your tempo of the game and its easy to micro in the battle

and dont forget wc3 isnt only micro ! so dont focus only on your micro, with good macro you can win people with better micro

i got around 160, but in big fights sometimes go up to 390, i had seen in differents my apm in 390 and my average was like 150~160 as someone said in fights u have a lot to do, but i think my high apm comes because for example y wanna use disenchant "s" in hotkey with my SW that are in grop three y press 3-tab-s, then 3-tab-s again so i make 2 more actions per action lol.

sometimes i get around 250-270 apm, but that doesnt tell anything about skill, i've already lost against players with ~100-140apm

yea we all do, i lost to a guy with like 60 apm, and i fell like shit but it happens, maybe bad day or something or maybe hes just better doing less actions.
