hi
i`m a broodwar player who turned to w3 and i need some advices for starters,my race is human and i would apreciate some counter attacks against all races and some build orders eventually.I noticed vs human it`s usualy played with spellbrakers vs orc with slowers but i`ve no ideea what should i do vs undead and elf cuz i get pwnd by the elfs huge amount of hp units and dmg :|

Hmm human is a very hard race... :) vs UD mass tower and tank, am, mk, paladyn harras, make exp with 500 towers :P and make tank (3 rax) ;q

vs elf. Elf is imba, so too hard:PP

1. Rifle and Mortal, am, mk

2. Rifle, Sorc, Priest, SB (spellbreakers) am mk

Ofc, exp :)

HU VS HU:
1. You go FE and at T2 build 2 Arcane Sanctums and start mass breaker + some sorc and priests.

2. FE and then fast tech to Castle, i prefer using 3 heroes here. Start mass Gryphons + Knights or Flying Machines + Knights, some priests with inner fire are good also. You can also use some mortars.

Hero combos: AM/MK/Pala or AM/Panda/Pala or AM/Pala or AM/Panda or AM/MK.

HU vs NE:
Mostly used strat: FE with footies (WITH DEFEND!) in the begining, then before T2 is finished start doing dome rifles. When T2 is completed, 2 Arcane Sanctums and mass Breaker + Sors + Rifles and use some Mortars - they're good vs Dryads. If the game gets longer tech to T3 - knights and maybe gryphons, but you should not let the Elf to get a lot of bears, cuz it's really hard to beat them, and if the Demon Hunter reaches lvl 6, get ready to type "GG".

Hero Combos: AM/MK or AM/Naga. You can add a third hero if you tech to T3, but it's not really needed.

HU VS ORC:

It's kinda like HU vs NE, a bit different tho. FE, tech, 2nd hero and mass sors and breakers (sors 1st). Later tech to Castle and use Knights and Gryphons (Orc players hate Gryphons.. i think).

Hero combos: AM/BM and eventually FL (best hero combo vs Orc in my opinion) or AM/MK or AM/MK/Pala.

HU VS UD:
FE, fast tech to Castle, 3 heroes and mass Tanks + Gryphons or Flying Machines + Tanks.

Hero combos: AM/MK/Pala or MK/Pala/BM or Pala/MK/BM.

I can write more if you need, i just don't have time ATM

first of all #2 say nothing about human mirror matchup
this is i think one of the most difficults
there are so many strategys and so many way to own opponent!
just play a lot ....

ok first of all i would like to thank u for the theory but i would like you to tell me pls what is the tank and T2,BM,FL(heroes)(what do they mean) and yes i would apreciate some more if possible.
#3Good advice but i already know that from starcraft,to practice but i didn`t want to pracite in vane but with some brains :)

Zork BM can just as well be meant BeastM if talking about human, I must say that he is more commonly used than the BloodM in human matchups.

Well.... u c da most important thing is how ya play........

I generally wit humans tech to tier 2 and use micro, caster/rifle combo mixed wit a couple of towers in an aggressive position.....

With scouting lyk mortar or the copter being a must it is especially important coz u gotta stick generally with the AM n MK, as dey r da only real useful heroes.....

N levelling up da MK is top priority...

So basically in tier 1 creep, defend a Fast Expo or tech with towers in ur base........ coz wit humans its safe to start fighting only from tier 2...... so depending on the enemy's strats do wat ya want.......

Just dont go rambo in da start coz unless u ve godly micro any decent player can crush humans.

vs orc use Tower Rush at the tier2 with FireLord and some peasants... orc usually have massssss problems with counter it:D
vs UD set exp... building towers to kill first destroyers... then mass flying maschines with flak cannons
