If Grubby is going to change his race into imba human, I´ll lose all my respect!
He´s still an orc god and just needs a little bit more train with orc instead just changing himself to an imba race. For sure, elf and human are imba and ofc easier to play, but as orc with better micro u even can beat a good elf.

Lyn vs. Moon was a really hard match and Lyn just has won, cuz he was the real better player...

I think that Grubby will wait for the new patch, b4 he´ll decide what he´ll do. For myself, also as an orc gamer, I do this and if the patch won´t fix all of these imbalance, i´m going to change to human!

Lyn has proven that even though there is imba Orc can still win, i think part of grubby's recent results have been his own lack of training? This is just speculation but.. :(

I'd say Orc's at the top of the solo ladder actually...Orc is already favored against UD, and Grubby himself said NE vs. Orc is like "shooting ducks in a barrel," but that's changed now too. Orc vs. HU used to be hard because of Casters but Lyn showed us if you use casters right that's not a problem at all (He beat Sky in WWW).

Obviously, skill is a huge factor. Someone (I think Remind) said the races are 99% balanced right now. And I agree. For example, this past year we've seen strategies counter strategies that used to be the counter to those strategies in the first place.

Of course, there are some units that are more "imba" than others, but EVERY unit in the game has a counter from each race. If Grubby wants to change race that's fine, but saying that Orc is weakest is definitely wrong.

It's stupid to say Orc is at the bottom when current results prove the exact opposite.

I havent seen using orc something other then grunts/raiders for ages, and then depends on MU, sometimes kodo, sometimes spirit walker. the only thing that changed is now tech to tier 3 for Orb. For undead its almost the same.
Only races, which has bigger possibility are Hu and Elf.
Lyn won only one tournament, dont make rule out of it. But its true, that Lyn and Focus are owning now. But i still consider UD and Orc much weaker

But back to topic- i thing, Grubby wont change race, becouse of Starcraft 2 :-(

Solo ladder means nothing obviously...

The opposite of bottom means that orcs are actually on top? yeah right.
Skill plays the biggest part (otherwise it wouldn't be a pro game) imbalance and maps another huge part.

Solo ladder means something in terms of rank. You're right in saying that the skill factor is the biggest part (by FAR) but judging from rank is the closest we can get. Just like finding the #1 rank solo player on Azeroth is the best indication of...the best solo player on Azeroth, although I'm sure any pro-wc3 (American) player could him.

But yes....the opposite of bottom usually implies top. I didn't make up the word definitions. But you're still right, skill plays the biggest part, and that actually supports my point. Very good Orcs like Lyn, Focus, Fly100, are all having excellent results against each race. Players like this are the "skilled" ones to watch out for, and they shape the race rank in the pro-scene.

Still Ladder is basicly a measure of how much a good player wants/can play and not a way to measure balance. Ladder is also heavy abusable. Back in the days the best players where avtually the ones in the top of the ladders but this is no longer the case.

I agree that the top orcs are really dangerous to anyone (espacially Lyn) but this doesn't remove the fact that NE/HU is on better side of Blizzards balance chart.
