Installation of Wc3 ROC problem (199 reads, 4 replies)
Okay, so I have had WC3 TFT for a while now and decided i wanted to play it again, i go to load up my discs i get about 75% of the way done and I get an error.

Now i thought well maybe its the discs. Borrow'd buddies discs same error at the same part of the install.

So i figured hmm maybe my comp is crap. tried to load it on my laptop. Same thing.

Now the 2 common denominators of this problem is, both my Comps have cd/dvd roms and they are both Hp's

here is what the issue error says:

Setup cannot read a required data file. Your Warcraft 111 cd may not be in the cd rom drive. please ensure that this disc is in the Cd rom drive and press retry.

e:/war3.mpq
error 0x00000017: Data error (cyclic redundancy check).
(fileUtil.cpp:816)

Thats the exact error start to finish. PLEASE HELP I would love to come back and play with everyone!
