You mean offensive towering? Never tried that out but i've got the feeling that AM footies and militia would solve that pretty easily?

You should pick up a few spirit walkers to dispell those summons also with the slowing effect on your units. Get a nasty surround on his second hero, strong aoe damage from FS + TC at his casters can help a lot.

Close spawn - use wyverns, they help a lot. Hero combo FS + TC, spirit walkers and maybe some kodos, and later it's not bad to tech to T3 and add a third hero + some taurens (exp is required).

Blizzard's Warcraft 1.22 patch that the following words
-Siege Engines no longer give experience for *buildings* they kill. This prevents a human player from literally 'creeping' off of a Night Elf base. Air units will still give EXP.
I think you can use Demolisher
