Bindings! (1677 reads, 16 replies)
Hey!

Its pretty obvious that the pro's use a lot of bindings, especially on the shops and inventory.

So i wonder if its possible to change bindings on the inventory spots? for easier TP etc. If its possible, how do you do it?

Also what kind of bindings do you use? Only one i got is Move 'M' to 'Q' instead for easier surrounds.

And anyone know what the proffesionals use for kind of bindings?

i have hear its possible to change it but i also hear is cheating, u can change the bidings but not the ones from ure inventory thats why some pros prefer just to click manually those items, than using the numbers in the right from the keyboard, but maybe someone with more knowledge about this could help u better :P. and from the items of the shop u need to know the entrys cause blizz dont gave them, but if u search for them u should found them easily .

Theres a program (illegal) called warkeys, pretty much lets you do all the stuff you asked about.

About the pros' hotkeys, well you'll have to ask them.

you're wrong , warkeys itself isn't illegal , this is a software to make you own custom keys easily , and this is helpful.
What is illegal is another program which is include in warkeys that allows you to bind the num pad to other touch on your keyboard ( but for all your computer , not only for wc3 ) and this software is illegal :)

Well it's still illegal in every lan tournament, I am not sure about Bnet though but even if it was illegal at Bnet they would have a hard time banning you for it since they don't bann the obvious hackers anyway...

Having custom keys is not illegal but you just save your custom keys .txt for that.. having a third party program is illegal, afaik.

hah :) bindings are useless if u are used to the ordinary ones :)
most of the hotkeys are in a very comfortable place :) as an orc i would say that shamans Light shield hotkey (L) sux :) the potions etc.. are easier to do with the mouse , i cant imagine how much time it would take u to search for a specific button throughout a tensive battle .....
2 click - fast TP :P

Thug)chazz So you dont think i know my keybindings without looking for them? Why would you look and search at your keyboard for a letter in battle? kinda stupid couse you dont search the keyboard on other bindings.

Not so clever of you =/
