WC3 events in China this winter (616 reads, 10 replies)
I will be traveling in China December 2007 and January 2008

Does anyone know if there are any big WC3 events to be held in China at that time?

I would love to experience watching some exciting WC3 matches live as I've been playing and following the scene more or less since the beta of RoC.

hi man, i'm in beijing, china. but i'm not sure whether or what war3 contest will be held in Dec yet. i can check with some chinese war3 web and update u later. plus, which cities will u visit? hope u'll travel to beijing. or we can play against each a game or two. haha.

WGT was hold last weekend in Beijing, resulted with XiaoT defeated Tod in the final. I didn't go to see it, 'coz i stayed all nite up to watch WC3L live in Germany. some great games there.

Do u use msn? Mine is stanley.sun@hotmail.com

I find there are all kinds of tournaments on-going recently. so hopefully, by the time u got china, there are some events.

when you have clear plans, u can drop me a line and i'll check whether there is any WC3 events in any city u visit.

Iceland is the beautiful country north-west north of Great Britain. It´s near to Great Britain but not much related.. but back to the topic.. Are there any big war3 events in China in December/January or even in Korea in mid-December.

i've put your question on Replays.Net forum (most pop chinese online war3 community resource). i got reply:

the 3rd round China E-sports Games (CEG) 2007 will be hold Dec 14 - 16, @ Changchun (in north China, capital of Jilin province).

Its official website (chinese): http://www.ceg.net.cn/index.html

It has various contest of e-sport, war3, starcraft, fifa, etc. except for top chinese gosugamers, some chinese clubs hired korean wc3 players for this events.
