The rules when the master playing? (466 reads, 7 replies)
Hello everyone!! I have some few question. Always when i look att the replays the players dont have so much buildings and fighters. And they always save the money.. Why dont they produce more?? Have they some rules to follow?

When you`re over 50 pop, you gain 7 gold instead of 10 from your goldmine. After 80 you get 4 instead of 10. It`s better to focus on micro, try to expo or push the enemy, then go over the upkeep. When you have 50 pop, use gold for scrolls and other items/upgrades that you need.

Ohh yeah i know about the upkeep but didnt know that they use micro more... I have start to play micro and i thinks its will make the game more funny..

hahaha;D it probably will.:)

since you seem to play UD keeping tabs on your upkeep is really important since you seldom expo as UD.

That's right. You almost never see an Undead expo. So what you gotta do is having great hero micro, using their spells (most often Coil, nova and maybe impale).

For example, if you keep harass your opponent so much that he won't be able to put up an expo, and you are on 50 pop while he's at ~60, it will clearly be an advantage for you when the main gold mines are out.

At this point, you can spend all your money you've saved and have more than he's able to possibly have.

Also you gotta make sure he can't outrun you, attack you, while you're at 50 pop and he's at 70 and totally fail to survive. Towers and basecamp when he attacks solves ;)
