When my sister was deployed to Iraq, she saw some of these. I guess they seem to be aggressive because they run up to you, trying to get into your shadow. People mistake this for aggression I guess.

#3 they are solpugids. and members of the class Arachnida (same as spiders).

they live in basically all deserts, have no venom, and usually aren't aggressive.

i saw a bunch of these while i was in iraq and dangerous or not, they are ugly as shit.
