Final Fantasy 9 and 10 (2251 reads, 45 replies)
My problem is i have almost forgot the big parts of the games and some parys of the ends, i mean there are like 2-3 places in final fantasy 9 where u think the game ends and you notice the game just started. It was years ago i finished them.

My first thought was to replay one of the best games ever, but they are so vast it would take to long time.
So i was wondering if someone from here have completed them and could give me a short summarize on both of the games.

I just dont just want to know the end but all of the big moments in them too.

Best regards /XoYnoZnU

Uhm, somebody summing it up wouldn't even go near playing them again.

Play the games, if you run through them without doing all sidequests and stuff you have completed them both in like 60-70hours of playtime total. And it's worth it.

60-70 hours? FF7 takes about 30 hours when running right through, so it would probably be more like 30-50 hours, which is even more worth it :D

I know it would be worth every second to get a whole picture but I think I would get bored becasue I already know part of the story and the beginning I already know.
I mean should i just sit there for 15 hours on each game just thinking hmm already known this
Plus have no idée where my playstation 1 is to Final Fantasy 9, I wont download an emulator to my computer dont think it is the same thing playing a consol game on a computer.

lol...you guys seriously only played 60-70 hours! haha, well i'm one of those guys who want to complete the WHOLE game with every single extra and there really was no ff-part which was under 100 hours, although i have to admit that i can't remember right now how long it took me to complete ff9 it MIGHT be under 100 hours...but surely not much!

and ff10 took me around 140 hours WITHOUT defeating the 3 last black-bestia + the richter (at least they are called like this in german), but managed to beat DEUS!

long talk little meaning....play them once more, they ae worth it, and it would really take (at least me) to long to tell you the most interesting parts, because there are more than plenty! :)

#7 read before you post please?

I've played 300hours+ on FF10 and prolly around 150hours of FF9 (I'm a GREAT FF geek ^_^) I have played FF7 5+ times, I've completed all the games in the series except FF2 which I'm playing right now.

I was saying that if he plays them as quickly as possible it would take about 60-70 hours to play FF9+FF10.

Gosh I really can't stand people that doesn't read and then write.

It's not that hard to complete FF9 in 30-50 hours by playing it quickly. I've even done it in under 12 hours to get Excalibur II. Tho it's more like 50+ hours of work with all the dying and such >< .

I am on the 2nd or third disc of 9

and have been for some time, just because i'd rather go play 7 again instead. Also i don't have the time anymore to play games of that length :(

If you find a decent recap of 9 post a link, because i always wanted to find out what happened to them all.

@ # 13 PEnance? - hmm...i wonder if he is the same as 'Der Richter' in german version...if he is than you came as far as i did :) ! there are two main extra-bosses...one is DEUS at the monsterfarm and the second one is Richter (who appears if you defeat all black versions of your summoning monsters) which one of them is your Penance?
