Once again, Cloud 9 easily dismantled former North American kings "Team Solomid" while Counter Logic Gaming prevailed over Curse, despite scrim records.  In addition, LMQ made quick work of Evil Geniuses in their first LCS game in their careers.

The first game started out with Cloud 9 taking an easy first dragon. Kills were traded back and forth and TSM were looking fairly comfortable with their new line-up.  However, the game unveiled as it usually would, with Clolud 9 playing smarter and playing on a higher level in terms of deep strategy.

With Team Solomid falling further and further behind as the game progressed, the team would eventually drop their game to Cloud 9.

The second game was the classic rivalry of CLG vs. Curse.  Things didn't start off well for Curse as a hectic level 1 fight left Doublelift's Lucian with an easy first blood.  Curse were playing exceptionally well in teamfights and built a couple of comebacks, but CLG still primarily remained ahead.

With Aphromoo's godly plays and ability to stay ahead and initiate, CLG were able to get a baron and kill Curse members repeatedly, resetting their death timers and allowing CLG to pull out a win.

Game 3 was LMQ's debut into the LCS against another primarily "foreign" North American squad.  LMQ's NoName acquired first blood to kick the action off.  Later, there was back and forth action, but LMQ had much better focus target priority and dominated the immobile squishies on Evil Geniuses.

Vasilli came out super fed for his team and LMQ utilized Leblanc for a powerful split push to starve Evil Geniuses, allowing them to take the win.
