mTw.AMD and Protois part ways

Protois. Photo by: readmore.de

German stalwart Lars Gerrit "Protois" Reichelt is no longer an mTw.AMD player. His contract which is supposed to end at the end of the year has been dissolved by the mTw management as of today. This he explains in a forum post at readmore.de.

Protois was last seen playing for mTw.AMD in clanwars back in May, when he was in the roster in an NGL-ONE match. Ever since the Koreans entered the lineup, Protois has had zero game time in the top leagues. This, together with school studies has made Protois unmotivated and not practicing as much, hence
his weak 13th place in the ESL Pro Series.

mTw is now only one player away of being a full Korean roster. The German Night Elf player Johannes "hanf" Morlo is still on the team, but has, just as Protois, had scarce play in international team games.

According to readmore.de the official news on Protois' parting will come later today, Wednesday.

mTw.AMD lineup

Jin Woo 'Resolver' Lee (Korea, Human)
Hyung Gyu 'Check' Lee (Korea, Night Elf)
Jinwoo 'WinNers' Kim (Korea, Night Elf)
Du-Seop 'WhO' Chang (Korea, Orc)
Dae Hui 'FoV' Cho (Korea, Undead)
Johannes 'hanf' Morlo (Germany, Night Elf)

^I like how mtw's management simply bought an entire korean mercenary squad and indirectly kicked their former players.

It was a smart move by mtw if they had not another clan would of. As for Protois I'm sure he will easily find a new clan such as mouz or another european based clan.

I think mTw will do the SK move and keep hanf just like SK keeping miou.

#3 do you follow the scene at all? Mouz has one European player now, HasuObs, and apparently he's retired... they're turning Chinese dude.

But #4... Miou has shown skill the past, he was very good at EPS for a long time. I don't think Hanf has shown that really.

Protois stated that he is going inactive due to his medicine studies.
He also stated that he had zero contact with the koreans of mTw besides check.

#3 : Protois don't will find a new clan because hes going inactive. After this EPS Season he will have a focus on his medical studies. But its not his only reason. The other reason is that he was flamed by a lot of german EPS-Viewers in the past, all in all i think it was the right decission by protois because Studies > Wc3

What im trying to point out is, they would keep 1 european for the sake of saying that the team is still somewhat from europe coz its what the organization wants. and even if miou was good in eps, past is past. now he doesnt even play, doubt he will play if sk makes it in the offline finals @wc3l. to me he's as the same status as hanf
