Moon on the hunt for a missing title

While Moon is the most dominant player throughout the professional WarCraft history, he has not yet won neither Electronic Sports World Cup nor the World Cyber Games. Today, his journey towards an ESWC title begins.

Moon's toughest opponent in the first group stage is the Chinese Undead player TeD. Statistically Moon's best matchup is against Undead, but Moon surely remembers the last encouter between the two; in Return of the King, where Ted had his big international breakthrough.

But after seeing Moon's performance in the Korean qualifiers for World Cyber Games and in the NiceGameTV WarCraft League, Moon seems to be in great shape to be able to come out undefeated through his group.

All the betting sites, expert analysises and many of the players themselves have Moon as the top dog coming into this event.

Moon's other opposers in his group are DeMusliM and YanE. The former mentioned, DeMusliM, is the sixth best Human in the GosuGamers ranking, and could be a threat to Moon who has the Human matchup as his worst (62% according to SK-Gaming's database).

However, on a normal day, it is Moon and TeD who advance from this player field.

Moon got ROBBED by ESWC. its complete bullshit. He had the same mapwin differential as Tod yet for some reason TOD got to go thru to the bracket without playing a tiebreaker.

ESWC just wants their french boy in the finals

Moon 0:2 lost to reign
while tod 1:2 lost to moon
Because moon wan none against reign while tod gained one map from moon,as a result moon had to be vanished.

Maybe because ToD has won more maps ?

if Moon have had won one map against Reign, he´d most likely advance(or there would be tie-braker between him and tod) this way, his out cuz of bad score...

On the one hand, ToD won one more map but lost one more, too. (=>Tie)
On the other hand, Moon beat ToD (Direct confrontation).
I can't figure out how ToD advanced to the final bracket! O_o
I'm gonna check ESWC rules, but somehow, their calculations aren't suitable imo.
GL ToD

EDIT:
ESWC regulations:

"The following criteria apply orderly to determine the distinct position of each
participant:
a) Higher number of points obtained in all the group matches;
b) Higher number of points obtained in the group matches played among the remaining tied participants;
c) Higher score difference obtained in the group matches played among the remaining tied participants;
d) Higher score difference obtained in all the group matches;
e) Higher number of points obtained in tie-breaker matches played among the remaining tied participants (tie-breaker matches are organized specifically for the occasion);
f) Higher score difference obtained in the tie-breaker matches;
g) Steps E and F are applied again until no participants are tied anymore.
The two first participants in each group qualify for the next step of the tournament."

=> Step a: Tie

=> Step b: Tie

=> Step c: i.e. Results of [Moon vs FiX] and [ToD vs FiX] are ignored; this favors ToD as his score difference becomes equal to 0 while Moon's is -1.

ToD qualifies!

MOON: 4 win 3 lose
TOD: 5 win 4 lose
differenz: 4-3=5-4=1
---->TOD = MOON
TOG win 5 maps and MOON win 4 maps
-------> TOD > MOON
BADLUCK FOR MOON!!!
