After a nice and clean final versus Serious gaming, Fnatic succeeds to be the team to enter the top of the winners´ stand.
Serious gaming had the difficult task of having to win twice against Fnatic to become the champions, and at first it looked like they were going to succeed. After a very even first match srs came victorious out with a score of 3-2. The key players turned out to be Sonkie, Kiwikawi and Nightwolf who all won their solo matches.
In the second war Fnatic could get a grip on themselves and were able to win with the convincing score 4-0. This made Fnatic the winner of this season of WPL and they received yet another trophy to add to their collection.
They won 3-0 not 4-0... unless NightWolf forfeited
the last game. Probably would have been 5-0 if
they played everything out though, agreed.
First match they had great lineups. Sonkie vs
FoCuS was an excellent matchup for Serious -
Sonkie's best matchup and FoCuS is a strong player
to take out. A pity Kowi wasn't much use - He's a
strong player. I'm not too sure if Serious would
have won if Fnatic used Shy vs NightWolf in the
first match though... seeing as Shy's mirror is
world class.
I think they might have wanted KaKi vs Space. Not
sure what KaKi's Undead matchup is like, but he
would have been more likely to win over Kowi or
NightWolf cos Space's Elf matchup is nuts.
Shy > Sonkie is fucking surprising though.
Shy's human matchup sucks. Maybe he and Kei have
been training.
