Undead legend Chun "Sweet" Jung Hee retires

Posted by Daniel "SteniS" Stenberg 4 years ago

The legendary Undead player Chun "Sweet" Jung Hee has, sadly, announced his retirement from professional WarCraft. He will, as many other Korean progamers in the past, be giving up his gaming for service in the Korean army.

It has, with great regret, been announced that Beijing E-sports Team's Undead star Sweet will be ending his professional career shortly. This due to him joining up with the South Korean military. Rumours have been floating around lately about his retirement since he hasn't been seen playing actively for quite some time and it seems that, at least this time, the rumours were not unfounded. Throughout the years, Sweet has been one of the most idolized players around. By charming the gaming scene with his stunning Ghoul micromanagement, he has become nothing short of a legend in the WarCraft III scene.

Chun "Sweet" Jung Hee and Fredrik "MaDFroG" Johansson, 2004

Chun Jung Hee, which is his real name, has represented several top clans during his career, including SK together with the Orc legend Zacard, World Elite and most recently Beijing E-sports Team. His way to the absolute top, however, started in the Korean clan WeRRa where he was known as "nOma". The 22-year-old was always known for his emotional displays, showing great disappointment when losing but also alot of joy when succeding. Some of his finest achievements include first places in WEG Season III and Blizzard Worldwide Invitational during 2006 after beating GoStop and Grubby in the respective finals.

A more detailed presentation of Jung Hee's impressive career can be found on Wikipedia. Also, don't forget to watch the breathtaking YouTube-videos linked to from below.
