Posted by Patrik "Raistlin" Hellstrand 6 months ago

The third season of the 2011 G-League was announced yesterday, with a whooping $12,600 USD prize pool.
The tournament feature 10 players, among them Korean Night Elf duo Sung Sik "ReMinD" Kim and Jae Ho "Moon" Jang as well as the Russian Night Elf Nikita"Nicker" Pomadov.
The fans will also witness the return of Zhou "TeD" Zeng after he defeated eleGant by a 2-1 score in pool D.
Note that once the tournament begins on December 3 in Shanghai, China, Orc stalwart June "Lyn" Park will not attend the WarCraft 3 competition. Due to his StarCraft 2 success in last season's G-League, he will be defending his championship title in the newer disciple.

I think it isnt Tod but Ted, anyway Im looking forward for some replays from this event.
TeD, not ToD. Might want to correct that. Moon could probably play both SC2 and the WC3 tourneys and stand a pretty decent chance at winning both, lol.
Is this going to be filmed or on air somewhere? It makes me sad how good the presentation is on GOM but War 3 never made it for good casting and sources of tournaments.
#2 nope no change winning sc2 100% winning wc3
Made me wonder wtf he's doing! Edit title please
Damn. I thought ToD really would come back to play some games... Nevertheless, Go TeD! :D
I hope this gets streamed.
i love WarCraft 3 !! also all the custom maps
Where is Lyn ? :O
TeD bring the undead race back!
Ye really what's up with Lyn? I was mostly looking forward to see him
where is lyn and where is luci? Moon is going to have a VERY tough time. ZERO orcs? thats his main training regimen having lyn as a teammate recently. just wow. moon needs to stay on top for wcg and wcg needs to HURRY UP. moon nees to play it while hes in his prime
Nice ;) I hope there will be draw in group :D btw where are TeD reps?!
Really epic news !!!!! WC3 isn't dead. The only UD of the championship
Come on Undead race
Wc3 > sc2 Really nice news
#17 + 1000 !
#15 wc3 is dead look on WCG player number ( 9 ) And ofc wc3 is much better than sc2, but its older and that players wanna smth new and sponsors wont sponsor old game :( "New is always better" but not in this case :D
Where is Lyn ? :O [2] |
#20 Lyn is attending SC2 G-League
:O only lucifer pf
plz don't say war3 is dead!
#4 Lyn won the last SC2 G-League, and Moon's quite a ways better than him at SC2 right now.
Go TeD Go Undead \m/\m/
Just making sure you guys are awake. ;)
#7 G-league is hosted by a paid cable TV channel. So you could watch the live on a chinese cable televison, but streams...no. It's glad to see TeD again, but i'm a little worried about his shape. I've seen one of his latest matches and obviously he was far from before.
I remember that there were replays from Gleague...
#12 moon won ief 2011 against the top of korean and chinese players, dont worry for him :) and JN plays hu not ne -_-
Just make sure that replay will be released,i hope to watch Moon ACTION
making me smile :)
Not sure how much Infi plays wc3 compared to sc2, but if he's still in shape, it's gonna be Moon vs Infi finals ;)
man , wc3 is so much better than sc2, its just because blizzard dont care anymore , like piece of shit because there is no cash to do on it .... congrats blizzard , hope u guys happy with starcraft 2 boring game aKa Money maker ... god ..
#32 Infi plays plenty of WC3. He seems to kind of just mess around in SC2 from time to time. WC3's still fine in China. Last WC3 G-League finals just a few weeks back had a huge crowd. China doesn't really seem to care about SC2 that much; more of a flop in China than it was in Korea, if you can imagine it.
There is a typo of TeD's real name("Zhou Zeng") in this news, it should be "Zhuo Zeng" Zhou-->Zhuo
Hay sorry for the maybe stupid question but what happened to Grubby? Did he retire or something?
no grubby moved to sc2... "EG.Grubby" where he is slowly working his way up amongst the top europeans... within a couple of months expect to see him having a place amongst the top players in the world (though it's unlikely he can transfer his level of dominance from war3 to sc2...) He's already doing pretty fucking good considering. Ps: nicker = niké = the verb to fuck in french? ;).
Lyn, out! sorry!
Where can I follow the results of the games ? And find out replays ?
