In a video interview, we find out that Blizzard is currently working on a balance patch for WarCraft 3: The Frozen Throne. We also get to know what it's like working at Blizzard, what system specifics (!) the StarCraft 2 Lead Technical Artist Rob McNaughton has had.

| The interviewer isn't very charismatic but it got the job done. Good interview.. I really liked the speed drawing ^_^ As for their patching, overall they've done a good job with the games, but over the past 2 years or so they have NOT been keeping up. Last balance patch I remember was so long ago with increased zig armor and increased dryad exp etc. Hopefully as the interviewee claims, they'll start patching regularly as long as the game is played (ofc it wouldn't be near death if they had just kept up with patching in the first place!!!!) |

| whats a wardon? Frost wyrm now has Chaos Damage and splash aoe increased to 1000 from 100. Death Knight's Coil now has no cooldown, and mana usage decreased to 10 from 75. Each Critical Strike from Blade Master now deals to him 50% the damage of the Critical. That would be fair, revenge of the undeads. |

| My advise for more balance: Hu: give AM less mana, delete stun from MK bolt, make alls casters costs +50 gold, remove invisibility skill from sorcs, nerf towers, delete gryphons. Ne: nerf DH, this hero is insane and imba, remove rejuvenation from bears, make archers and dryads more xp, make talons +60 gold, remove jesus staff + orb from shop. Ud: give DK less mana, make statues tier 3 units, make tower upgrades +200 gold, remove web from fiends, give abo less hp. Or: seems balanced, maybe raider needs + attack and burrows more hp. Also, a jesus staff in shop would be nice. |

| My advice : HU:nerf towers,reduce gryphon hp and dmg.get bolt stun for 3 secs , 2 sec for heroes. NE:Nerf DH , get talons cost + 35 gold , reduce cyclone ro 17 sec instead of 20 sec, 6 sec on heroes. up the time of rejuveration to 16 sec instead of 12 sec.nerf huntresses. UD: Get rasistance of orcish spells : Ensare (from 12(I advice to balance it,,from 12 sec to 8 sec.) sec to 6 sec) ,Hex ( from 15/30/45 sec to 10/15/20) wind walk charge from 40/70/100 to 30/60/80),Reduce garg dmg,reduce meat wagon dmg.reduce fiends HP from 550 to 510. get +70 dmg to the wagon that deals vs units with light armor(air units that being webbed of course...). ORC: nerf BM, get it's critical to deal less dmg,get from 15% change to 12% chance ,ensnare from 12 sec to 8 sec ( 2 sec on heroes),reduce demolisher dmg,get borrow buffed HP/Armor and Towers. reduce grunt dmg -2. Natural: get the new 2 tavern heroes that was tested by blizzard. Don't flame that this opinion's bad, It's my opinion :) =D |
| Seriously, why are so many people asking for a nerf on human towers. Are the humans already not weak enough?! Without the towers, they are just a sitting duck for pandas, warden, bm, and even huntresses. If anything, they actually might need a buff like a little more damage for breakers. The human army drop like flies, especially to aoe heroes. |
| How much mana gives AM's aura? I think if it is lower then DK's aura or more but Mana > Hp (Moonwells says it!) :D |
| #38 I think that players say this Enough ... But just ask the non-human player and You'll see what they think! Blizzard have to change the human race behavior from being towergays... I do not say that blizzard have to remove the towers from the human race, They just have to do something that You'll notice the towers strategies less... nerfing tower will be good! |
| @#40 You can't just nerf human towers without giving them something. If you do, you might as well just remove the whole race from the game as they would not be able to win against anybody. The human army as of now simply cannot stand toe to toe with other races, especially in the early game. |
