IEM final four revealed

Not long ago, the groups for the first global stops were announced, with four spots going to chinese players. We now know the name of these players.

In the first qualifier round , over 40 chinese players battled it out for a place in the second round of the tournament. Out of this first round only eight players managed to go through, with little to no surprise as to the remaining names.

Sai, Th_000, TeD, Yumiko, InFi, iNowForDream, Future and Fly100% went on to play a now double elimination tournament where the top three players would join Sky as the chinese contingent to battle the oh so usual koreans+Grubby lineup. Considering current form, it was of no surprise that InFi, Th_000 and Sai were the ones to come out on top, if you take into account TeD had to face Fly100% in the first round and Sai in the lower bracket that is. The latter, although he lost to th_000 in the first round, went on to clean sweep the lower bracket to become the fourth and final man to go to Shanghai later this July.

This 29th of July, these eight players will battle it out for the 5,000 USD of the first stop of the Intel Extreme Masters Challenge. Good luck to them all and may they bring us some memorable matches!
