A legend bites the dust.

The once self proclaimed dream team, MYM has closed its warcraft 3 division. This time for good.

The team who once housed the likes of Grubby, Moon, Lucifer and Susiria has recently confirmed they won't renew ReMinD's contract, and neither LucifroN's, leaving them as free agents now. This happened not due to bankruptcy like when the danish MYM closed, but because the now german organization has decided it is time to move on with Starcraft II, leaving warcraft to be only but a good and distant memory. Apparently, they will open up a Starcraft II division, with DeMusLiM as their first player.

Here's MYM's CEO, Nicolas Schulmann statement:

"WC3 was the heart from MYM for many years. Legendary star players like Grubby, Moon, Captain Susiria, ReMinD and Lucifer stand side by side in MYMs long history of success. Still after the relaunch in the Summer of 2009 WC3 was chosen as a main title for MYM.
As time goes by and new games come abroad the shores of the community MYM has decided to end the ERA of active participation in WC3. There is an old saying that as one door closes, another one opens, so you can be sure that soon we will present you a new crew of warriors to fight in new battlegrounds for the pride and glory.

This means that the legend of the makers has finally come to an end. The team who had a fierce rivalry with 4k first, Sk and WE has finally shut down, leaving the latter as one of the last standing bastions of the top warcraft 3 clans. The current number one team in our rankings gave the community plenty of fond memories both in and off the game, so it is only logical to expect the same from MYM.SC2.
