Only one issue fixed this time to avoid in-game crashes.- Fixed a client crash related to queuing too many invalid build commands
While the previous patch was directly related to the Map Editor, this patch comes to fix a problem that is very clear by reading the only sentence in the changelog. Probably DotA players didn't even realize this bug, but WarCraft players did and this update comes in good time for them.
The new patch can be downloaded in two different ways: automatically from Battle.net or manually with the standalone patch found on Blizzard's ftp website here. For the second option, just click either PC or MAC according to your Operational System and scroll down the page, then select the patch according to the language you have installed on your computer.
Note from the author: I tested the new patch on Garena but I couldn't join any games created with the 1.24c patch version. It seems that 1.24d clients can only play with other 1.24d clients.

I don't know if it works on Battle.net though ? Bnet requires you to update, so i dont think it should be a prob o-o |

| I am got sucked of it! It is so stupid that I don't have enough words to explain how really stupid it is! how often will these patches be released? It is so annoying to change, to install to make all this shit. and the most interesting thing is that there are no changes at all! just fixed some bugs or removed problems. Are there so many troubles in c patch that it must be changed? I don't know who is initiator of this shit, but this man is a real idiot! |

| Wow this is just great. In the Philippines there will be 4 kinds of people on GG. Those still using 1.20e, 1.24b, 1.24c, and now 1.24d. Now it will be friggin hard to find a game. |
| The problem with the patch is that while it's inherently not difficult to install, it causes a lot of problems. As stated, Garena/GGC users are usually slow to update, so there will be a very annoying period where different patches limit how many players can see your games. Additionally, and what annoys me personally the most, is that replays of different patches become unviewable. Due to the fiasco with 1.24c, most players weren't able to watch the WCG replays since they were played on 1.24b and released after 1.24c. It's of course possible to use third party software or backup files to jump between patches, but it's simply a hassle. |

| Jesus christ the stupid dota players are whining now... We have been alot of wc3 gamers who in the past 2 weeks have had our ladder experience completely ruined by this fucking drop hack... So about time - blizzard finally release the patch and we can start playing again... It actually doesnt even screw up your old replay files! Couldnt be better! All you have to do is to join battle net - 5 secs and you have the patch... Is that really such a big deal? And #4 - get a brain or something! |

| it's kinda annoying yeah, but, it takes 2-5 secs to dl the new patch from b.net. the people which can't dl the new patch, too bad, go buy the original WC3 cd. |

| i love how all those dota kids crying , first off dota is a map/addon to wc3 so it's not a game and if blizzard wants u to stop using and addon then thay can do it and u can't do anything about it bcuz it's just an addon and if u wanna keep playing then go play HoN which is a play on itself and not an addon depending on another game |

| Im not a pirate Im a ninja, but I still QQ, because everytime i need to watch a replay, I have to switch back to older patchs, furthermore Its almost umplayable on ggc on the first 2 days of the the new patch, always ppl disconnecting, cuz they fold to read what version the host is playing on :/ |
| LOL, chill people. :) It was a needed update, not for the DotA, but for the Warcraft community. We must accept it and just donwload it. Simply join to BNet or if you have an unofficial version then don't whine as you already spared around 10$ or how much money? |

| if people are too dumb to connect to b.net or even use version switcher, there is no hope for them anyway... seriously folks, be grateful that bilzzard even KEEPS UP SUPPORT for ancient WC3. heck, they could turn off the whole thing, if they wish to. |

| its not problem to download it in 5 seconds. but it fuck replays watch option, just all the replays made before patch are GONE in few seconds, y i can dl version switcher, but it usually fuck future patches (cos localized version) and i must reinstal w3... and that is not funny so that patches are arrogant and fucked uped, cmon, who still play w3? there is 50 time more dota players than w3 players so blizzard give fuck again want make w3 better - make a balance, more flexability to strategy, more units, and i will play w3 again but now its a shit |
