Shadow League: Who will attain the podium?

Eight contestants, one goal: Qualify to the semis. Who will fulfill the task? Let's have an insight on the upcoming confrontations...

The opening match will oppose two Korean veterans, Jang 'Moon' JaeHo and Eom 'FoCuS' HyoSub. The former advanced from group B as he managed to grab the pole position while the latter could swipe the second position in Group A after taking down Yoan 'ToD' Merlo and Huang 'TH000' Xiang in the tie-breakers.
Despite his poor performance this year, 'Moon' is set as favorite. Nevertheless, his orc country mate is not to be underestimated, seeing how heated the last encounter between the two was three months ago, in Intel Extreme Masters.

In the next fixture, the leader of Group A Park 'Space' SeungHyun will take on this year's WCG champion in person, i.e. Xuwen 'InFi' Wang.
'InFi' is the only Chinese representative among the qualified players. Beating the likes of Yoon 'SocceR' DeokMan and Pedro 'LucifroN' Moreno Durán in the tie-breakers, the 'Tower Devil' took the bull by the horns and secured a ticket for the playoffs. 'Space', having been imperial in the groupstage, won't be an easy opponent for the Chinese provided that he performs as well as he did in the last playdays.

Proceeding flawlessly to the playoffs, the Undead legend Chun 'Sweet' JungHee will brave the European old school icon Zdravko 'Insomnia' Georgiev in what's supposed to be the clash of the quarter finals. The Undead player didn't concede a single defeat through the whole tournament while the Human flagged only once, to Fredrik 'MaDFroG' Johansson, an Undead... Whether the Bulgarian will stop The Scourge this time or not, expect an epic combat between the two contestants.

Last but not least, the Swedish rekindled star 'MaDFroG' will lock horns with the surprising Korean Orc Hong 'FarSeer' WonUi in the last quarter final match. Despite the tough matchup, The Undead is likely to cause difficulties to his sparring partner and is clearly favorite to proceed to the semis.
