- Unfortunately I'm not at the best of my game lately, especially compared to where I was some months back, says Lyn.
The SK-Gaming star has not been having the same top-notch year as he had in 2008, crashing out early in the latest tournaments. In IEF he failed to advance from the group stage, losing to Infi, Grubby and Soccer.
IEM stop in Chengdu was not a success either, losing to Sky in the group stage for another early outing.
For World Cyber Games, Lyn hopes to play against fellow Koreans in the final, which would be a first timer in WCG history.
- I'd prefer to play against another Korean player at the finals. The Chinese players might be the toughest obstacles.
- I think the Chinese guys [Sky, Fly100%, Infi] got the highest chances to win.
Lyn's most memorable tournament was Make Games Colorful back in 2007.
- I basically won every game back then and even beat Moon twice in final games.
The group that awaits Lyn in WCG he is the absolute favorite in. Asgardinho, Maniac and Padash are no names high up on the international rankings. In fact, only Padash holds a tournament record in the GosuGamers rankings from European Nations Cup, WHL and Bundesliga to mention some.
The Korean WarCraft 3 scene has seen a number of retirements, but Lyn plans to stay in the business for two more years.
- I´ll try to stay progamer for two more years and try to collect as much money as possible in order to be absolutly free in my choice of future doings then.
