Alternate aTTaX Pulls Out of NGL

Team Alternate aTTaX has confirmed that they are dropping out of NGL-ONE team league.

The decision was made due to yawS going inactive and XlorD who plans on doing so as well. The team manager also pointed out how NGL-ONE is not a top priority for teams anymore and the decision just seemed logical.

Team Alternate aTTaX wasn't placing badly in the rankings. They were ranked 6th with four wins and four losses with three play days left.

All teams will receive a default win against Team Alternate aTTaX and for those who already played against them, the scores will be changed to 3-0. There seems to be no plan to add another team in the league as it is more than half-way through with only three play days left.

Although the league will continue to run, the league's reputation does seem to be going downhill. Before the season, they had MeetYourMakers, now known as Evil Geniuses, and SK-Gaming drop out of the league.

They went around their own rules and invited World Elite to get at least another top tier team to compete in their team, which caused controversy as to why they didn't invite the next team in line and now they have what is the best team in Germany dropping out of their league as well.

With only three play days left, whether or not there will be changes for the next season or the possibility of more teams getting interested is still unknown.

whoa what? Xlord? He's at the top of his game! Can't quit now!? Hopefully not permanent :(

Xlord preparing for sc2 beta release? Could be possible. Although it would be a shame, considering he really is at the top of his game.

I think NGL misstreated their team league alot. It was officially created for semiproffessional teams and it was clear from the beginning that the prizemoney wouldnt be the driving force in the league. I think the fact that NGL more or less invited teams like attax to the league (which in the first case where in the group of teams that stated that they wouldnt focus on team leagues like this) (then changed their mind when they figuerd out that any publicity is good publicity) and then NGL didnt even let some very deserving semi proffesional teams into the quali. Leave NGL-One to the teams that needs and deservs to be in it! And more than anything, leave the league to teams that wants to play it!
