...of a battle (why don't you let me finish!?) Since jucief and Gunnar provided me with some info about warcraft III and by joining in MYM, I learned loads, after watching several gosu's replays, I now, have some feelings to share with you all. Recently been teaching my American students 'the Art of War' i found it extremely go with the strats one can use in Warcraft III: All warfare is based on deception. Therefore, -when capable of attacking, feign incapacity; -when active in moving troops, feign inactivity. -when near the enemy, make it seem that you are far away; (like on TR, some players creep the 411 turtles where are opposite to his startplace, misleading his opponent where he is) -when far away, make it seem that you are near; (like some orc players harass the enemy by sending FS's spirit wolfs to kill farmers so that the archmage would stay at his base rather than going out for magic finding) -Hold out baits to lure the enemy; (the most interesting replay I'v seen was Nelf vs ud, the low level lich trapped in a Crown of Kings+5 encircled by 4 invisible ht and finally the lich was killed by DH(mana burn) and Naga(forked lightning)nearby) -strike the enemy when he's in disorder; (even if your troops are stronger at the site when u meet your enemy, weak disposition will still place u into disadvantage) -prepare against the enemy when he's secure at all points. -avoid the enemy for time being when he's stronger. -if your opponent is of choleric temper, try to irritate him. -if he is arrogant, try to encourage his egotism. -if they are united, try to sow dissension among them. -attack the enemy where he is unprepared, and appear where you are not expected. i see, so they banned the getaways, so you wont be able to produce zealots or dragoons which is fatal when im a Terran player :O xD, okay, but thats a shame :/, write to me if you suddenly can and want to play :)
