Alright, while waiting at school, here's some predictions for the upcoming WCG 2009, for fun :). I even regroup 3 games; WarCraft, StarCraft and Counter-Strike. --WarCraft-- -Group A Fly100% for sure and for the second one I was hesitating between Ciara and bly but after watching their rankings ( proudly sponsored by GosuGamers.net :D ), I would go with bly. -Group B Humm... Happy that's sure but the other one ? Go for Revenant. -Group C Oh nice one, Grubby and WhO all the way even if TeRRoR could cause a surprise. -Group D Infi and LongWalk ? -Group E Sky and yAwS will advance, maybe WCG has already forseen that as it will be the first WC3 match of this year edition ! -Group F ToD ... and who's the other ? -Group G Lyn and Padash ! -Group H Oh Moon and s.o.k.o.l sure thing ! But there could be some surprise too in these groups, like Ciara overpowering bly or even VeryBigMan ( we never know ! ) or Magic in Group E imho. --StarCraft-- Alright, StarCraft isn't my cup of tea but let's try it too ! -Group A I'm not really sure about Jaedong 8-) ... he will surely advance with the polish player Draco. -Group B Another Korean will advance, Stork plus FengZi in Single Elimination. -Group C Another Korean ??? PJ will be the other one ... or maybe DIMAGA ? -Group D Alright toughest group to predict imo, IdrA, White-Ra and Advokate, two of those three will advance. With the number of player in each groups, there is much chances to have some surprises and dark horse coming up, once again ! --Counter-Strike-- Why not some Counter-Strike too ? It's a blog after all ! :D -Group A Millenium surely, with 4glory I supose. -Group B Is it really worth it to mention that fnatic will go in Single Elimination ? I don't know for the others, I think that Blight.ca will be better than wNv.Cn -Group C mTw and Virtus.pro all the way. -Group D H2K -Group E k23 and TeG, not much to say about that. -Group F Mousesports and Turmoil advance. Maybe tp.uSports from Russia instead of Turmoil but I don't think so. -Group G For the other groups, I don't know much of the teams, except EG so I won't pronounce myself on that.
