I'm 15 so I'm still at school. Last week, I've noticed that everyone's trying to get girlfriends. It's an all-boys-school so the only times we get to meet girls is in town during lunch break or during school trips. I went into town with group of friends (people to socialize and pass the time with) because my friend wanted me to go with him, i.e. I would be at school alone for an hour and ten minutes. My friend is constantly texting this girl who he seems to like a lot so I was expecting to sit down and be bored whilst he talked to her but, to my surprise, I was wrong. Anyway, he bought me a sandwich whilst wishing I was somewhere else due to boredom. We waited, as a group of 5 or so, for these girls. When they arrived, I was simply sitting on a bench whilst eating the sandwich and minding my own business. I don't talk much because I only talk about important or necessary things. I'm not interested in girlfriends, not because I'm a homosexual, because I can't be bothered to have a short-term relationship: a total waste of valuable time. A long-term relationship at 15 years of age? I don't think so. What I'm trying to say is - I didn't bother wasting my time talking to them and I just waited for my friends to finish talking to the girls as I tried to mind my own business. The rest of the male group, who often talk about girls and seem experienced with the whole dating thing, weren't communicating at all with the girls. I thought to myself: what's going on? Why is there no communication? There was 1 group of girls and 1 group of boys: with me in between. No contact. Nothing. It was completely ironic; I was there for the free sandwich; my friends were there to chat-up the village women - and yet I was the closest to the girls, eating a sandwich. Embarrassing. Anyway, I thought "fuck this", got up, left, and went to Domino's Pizza to order a Margarita with a free garlic dip. It's true that I'm lonely and single but the simple reason is - I'm not looking for anyone. Mental note to myself: Do not pretend to be experienced with girls. Do not even get involved with girls until legally fuckable. Thx. | ||||||||||||||||||
