DH: my view of the event
    Created 30th November 2007 20:12

This is the fourth time I delete the old blog and rewrite it, I'm not quite sure what topic to pic. I decided to write about no big topic at all, writing a little bit about this and a little bit about that.

    I'm sick...

Before I went here I was pretty sick, and it have been coming and going ever since troughout the whole event. When the headache comes, I feel pretty bad and unable to fully concentrate and work.

    Grubby is the man...

Grubby completely changed my thoughts of him. I've seldomly talked to him earlier, I've never liked Orc as a race and I'm more or less cheering for whoever is the underdog, which Grubby almost never is.

I feel very bad for not being a very good fan of Grubby, cause he is the one deserving it the most. He've been nicer to me than most other players have been during the event. He has greatly made my work as an admin easier, he showed great respect despite he's a top player in the world. In short, GRUBBY FOR THE WIN! :)

    All the people

Most of the people are very nice, what a cliché, but fact is that most people are somewhat nice. It have been a pleasure to work here. Don't really know what else to say.

    The arena

Awesome, the arena this time is just awesome. A very professional crew is working fully with it, and all in all it looks very professional. Couldn't be better. Lots of people are watching games live in the arena and they are screaming and shouting when someone dies or wins. It's great.

For those of you who haven't been here, I recommend it. It's a pleasure. Rock on! :)

    A Pre-DreamHack Blog
    Created 13th June 2007 10:56

I've been to DreamHack a couple of times before with several different tasks being an admin or a coverage newswriter. I think this is the 4th time I'm going, and I don't think I've been more excited. I know the circumstances now, I have a routine and I'm used to the atmosphere at the LAN. Still, it doesn't influence my state of excitment in a bad way, the other way around. Why?

I'm going to meet alot of people

The list of people going there is way long, ofcourse I don't know everybody. Some people I already met at earlier events, but there is actually alot of people coming that I never gotten to meet. I talked to an old term friend of mine, knowing him online for years. I've been his manager but even though the rest of the team met up a few times I didn't get the chance.

While talking to him, realizing he was coming, I kind of started jumping around in my chair, getting all excited of the event. This was yesterday, and I'm still dead excited. WOAH!

DreamHack, not just computers and tournaments

As I described above, DreamHack is for me not just an event, people with computers, tournaments and a whole lot of nerding infront of the computer. I'm not going there to play either StarCraft nor WarCraft, even though I have a big passion for it. No, I'm going there for the people, the absolutely incredible atmosphere and all the happenings around the event!

I like to be the boss, I admit

For you without any knowledge about it I'm going to lead the WarCraft tournaments at DreamHack, and I truely am proud of it. It's not that I love to be a dictator, saying this and that and make it rules everyone has to follow. I don't know why, but I do enjoy working things and problems out, making everything work fluently. To be given the faith of leading the tournament at DreamHack, which will be one massive hardcore tournament, is a great satisfaction for me, knowing that people actually might be confident with how I administrate various events.

    I'm looking forward to...

... meet all you people. I can't even remember all the people that's coming and I want to see in real life, but people such as Raistlin, Mazor (even though we already met), Yasir, SquiRReL, Vilda, MyWa, Tharkas, illumnize and many more will be a great success for me to finally have a real life chat with.

I invite everyone to sneak in your heads and say hello to me and the others in GosuCrew in the GosuGamers.net center at DreamHack. Have a great event all of you! Hope I'll see you around! :)
