"he Japanese generally don't express their love openly. They believe that love can be expressed by manners. When they put their feelings into words, it is preferred to use the phrase "suki desu (好きです)". It literally means, "to like." "Suki da (好きだ)," "suki dayo" (好きだよ, male speech) or "suki yo (好きよ, female speech)" are more colloquial expressions. "

well it isn't really google translator or dictionary.com that I used, it's google answers, there are millions of questions like "how do you say I love you in japanese" and they all get the answer "Suki Dayo" from different people, I've never seen anyone say Daiyo :o

okyo @ 1 year ago
are you sure it's daiyo tho, google says it's dayo o.o

No idea about Asian languages. I only know how to deal with my own one.
As for my English, it's pathetic, but better than those guys who only learn the language on the Internet and gaming.
I go to language high school, so I keep improving. :p I still need to learn a lot of things though.
