ToD falls back and Moon is again on top of WarCraft 3. Find out what changed this month here.

Moon back on top when ToD and Lyn falls back


Yet again, we can see MeetYourMakers' Moon on top of the game, gaining three spots when mouz.ToD and SK.Lyn falls back with two. With no big events, nor any destructive matches, the new maker Grubby stays at the same place as last month. We can also see three new faces with three different races; suhO for Night-Elf, Eric for Orc and TH000 for Human.

Apart from the very top we saw a lot of drastic changes, such as Fly and ReiGn gaining eight spots, while Rainbow and XyLigan could see themselves as struck down. suhO made the biggest step forward with more than nine spots upwards, which is a great deal.

Despite having a lot of Undeads in the top, we can clearly see that none of them are ranked before 7th, and that two of each of the other races are ranked ahead. Last month there was 7 Orcs and 5 Humans, but this month the Orcish race got stabbed with one spot, taken from a Human. This means it events out the overall distribution of races, and that the every race after all got some kind of strengths.

This month South Korea lost some players while China gained one. Overall we can see how the Asians still have the biggest amount of top gamers around the world, and in the top 30 - there are 19 Asians against 11 Europeans, while none of the Americans or Africans where able to get even one on the top 30.

On the clan side, MeetYourMakers picked up one more top 30 player, and expand the space between the second placed SK-Gaming. SK-Gaming on the other hand let go of XlorD and loses one top 30 player, still if that wouldn't be the case, they would still end up second after MYM. After these two teams, German and Chinese teams are trying to keep the steps up, and while BeT loses two, mouz, mTw and WE is standing their ground with three players each.

yes th000 is not bad but his rank now is good. dont think that hes able to be top 10 or 15 coz sometimes he wins vs very good players and next day he loses vs much worse players

Huh? moon +3? more like moon + 100 if u look @ februari rankings, but i dunno rly what this "+ 3" means i thought it was from last ranking. How could tod be first last time and go -2 and moon be first now and go +3 when there was like 70 points between them in februari i mean.

Said to tell you that his official name is Deok Man Yoon and not Duck....

Website's make this mistake all the time, but Soccer himself said that it is Deok and not duck..

Allow me to explain, it's very simple tbh. The +/- change indicates how many positions a player has gained or lost since the last monthly ranking was made.

In Moon's case, he was ranked 4th in the January ranking and is now ranked 1st. He has gained 3 positions and therefore his change is "+3" (4 - 1 = 3 right?).

#3 if you talk about online performances do they even matter that much? I would like to see Eric's results in a lan vs the top players. It's true this ranking takes into account all type of games (online + lan) but thats why I wouldn't say its spot on accurate.

More an inactive player (creo) should not even be in a rank since he inst playing anymore I dont see the point in having him there.

#10 it's not a mistake as Duck man and deok man are both equally correct. It only comes to how the owner of the name wants it said and Soccer told me he prefers Deok Man.

#13, I kinda have to agree with you on that it might not be the same thing to play on an offline tournament than in an online league, but I also find it rather hard to take the connections of various countries in account.

Whatever, despite a few small things, I found this list the best ranking world wide right now (as far as I've seen). It's not based on anyones opinion (which close to always is subjective), but instead all the results that's made out there. :)

#9 actually those 2 number have almost nothing to do with each other.. the +/-3 is ranking and the other are points (which determine the ranks of the players)

ofc creo should be there!! he shouldnt be removed only cuz he isnt playing.. if he's earned a spot on that list he deserves to be there..
