 Beijing E-sports Team The Chinese team BeT, consisting of Koreans, finished fifth during the regular season but was able to defeat We are Go in the decider for the offline finals. They clearly won with a 3-0 score and once again showed their strength. BeT won six out of ten WC3L matches and scored 26 points, meaning they are equal to Go, except the map score. Starting with a quite surprising 3-2 victory against MYM and another victory over Defs, they had a good time in the beginnings of the season. Afterwards they lost to fnatic and then won against World Elite. This way their season went on, winning one or two matches and then losing another. This does not look too stable, but in the end they scored enough points to make it to Cologne.
The rosterThe team did not have to undergo any big changes during the season and the players are really good. Big  names such as Sweet and FoV are in BeT's roster. Especially FoV did very well lately and so he did in WC3L, Sweet should be known to almost everyone since his membership in SK Gaming. Unfortunately from BeT's side Sweet (picture on the left) did not show a good performance during the season, only scoring a record of 6-11 in solo and 17-17 overall. With Check not going to Cologne for unknown reasons, WinNers is the only Night Elf player of BeT on spot. WinNers showed some good results during the season but it looks like he will have to improve if he wants to be able to compete with the other team's players. Since Night Elves are a very important factor in any team, it would be important for BeT to help WinNers becoming more stable. Key player(s)The BeT players are mostly pretty close together stats wise and there has not been a player that was in the very top of the player statistics - except FoV. Playing both, 2on2 and solo in most WC3L matches and being ranked sixth with 23-12 in maps makes FoV being a very important factor in BeT. Without him the 2on2 would maybe get troubles and a great solo player would be missing aswell. FoV's shape will be important for the team and therefore he looks like the key player in BeT.  PredictionBeT qualified as the lowest ranked team and looks like the underdog at the finals. The overall final would be suprising for the Chinese team, although they might be able to reach it if it's players have a great weekend and some luck. FoV and Sweet are the players that can beat their opponents, but the others will need good days to play on the same level. The potential is given but the other teams look stronger, and therefore a third or fourth place looks more possible to BeT. DatabaseWhile the other three teams are ranked on top of our GG.net database, BeT can be found on rank six. This shows their role as an underdog a little better.
