Patrik "Raistlin" Hellstrand sits down with Sebastian "FuRy" Pesic and asks about the ended WC3L season, his thoughts of the game versus Space and about people who blames him and Zeus for the "bad" season for 4Kings.
1 What went wrong in the match versus Space?
- Hmm, first game, after I had to tp out from his base, after making a bad decision to fight I started shaking in my entire body, cause I had so much pressure on me and I was really nervous, however I manged to win that game because of better hero levels and an expansion in first game.
Second game, I started of really good, he blew up my base though, but I had a really nice time in his base, I thought I had the game, I wanted to go back to my base, get orb, get DR and finish it, then I noticed that I didn't re-upgrade my hall, so I was STILL tier 2 and not even teching, such a stupid mistake, then I lost in the big fights.
Third game, he made a tier 2 push, he had more fiends than me, mana pot, burrow and lich, I decided to fight, but it was really stupid, I should have waited inside my base, get orb, get the advantage of tier 3, then fight... But I didn't. I failed and i feel like fucking shit...
2 After being in the scene for such a long time, playing in televised leagues in Korea, WCG, ESWC; shouldn't a player with your experience, be used to the pressure and the nervousness?
- Thats a good point, I should be able to handle the pressure, but for some reason I didn't this game, and to be honest I don't know why, maybe my confidence is not as high as it was for several reasons. I was / still am not in the shape that I was in when I was in my best shape, pressure wasn't the reason for me losing the game, I lost because I made some mistakes.

3 In order for 4Kings to secure the playoff spot, you would have needed to win with a more comfortable score. Was it a special feeling in the team before the match? Tense?
- Motivated to win and do our best, we joked and did the things we usually do, however everyone except me that was in the lineup was in China so don't know about that. ^^
4 How big would you say 4Kings' chances are to reach the playoffs?
- Its not in our hands any more, I don't know what has to happen for us to reach the playoffs, all we can do is hope for some luck.
5 Do you think there will be any consequences on the team (sponsors, new recruits etc.) should you not get the ticket to Cologne?
- No, I don't think so, and even if there would be it wouldn't depend on getting the ticket to Cologne or not.
6 Would you say this season was one of the toughest so far, with the high caliber teams and players that are in the league?
- Yes for sure, it's been the tightest season so far.
7 People in the community are now blaming you and Zeus for the "bad" season of 4Kings. What do you have to say about that?
- Thats the easy thing to do, blame us, I don't care about these people at all, watch my player statistics from this season and honestly say I and Zeus alone are to be blamed for this bad season. Every player in 4K is working day and night with this and really put in all heart and effort to improving, if we did bad this season so be it. We WILL come back stronger than ever, if I so am to perish doing it.
8 Lastly, what do you wish for right now?
- I wish for my life to get back on the track it was two summers ago, when I was truly happy and enjoyed everything, I feel it is going on the right path again slowly, and I wish for luck and happiness for my family and all my teammates.
