Blogs \ Insane WoW leveling
gReep @ 5th September 2010 19:47 (Read 1165 times).
Like any MMO, WoW has a very delicate level system. Designed to constantly keep the player interested. Not letting him loose track of the progress.
Despite all of this I can sense a bit of difficulty leveling my current 71 gnome warrior through Northrend.

Don't get me wrong the lore and story is much more interesting then in Burning Crusade. But even so I can't seem the get the speed up.
I leveled through Outlands in a couple of days, perhapps a week tops. Now I've been in Northrend in almost a week and I'm only 1.5 levels in.

Ok to tell you the truth I've done other things lately. Like level my mining and helping others with quests but still. I should be quicker then this. Better even.

So to any of you readers what are your tips? 'Cus right now I seem to need them..

In my next blog post I will be back not wining about my own unefficiency but rather informing about something im more skilled at; The delicacy of the World of Warcraft market and Auction house. In short we will speak a bit about the big elephant in the room. The gold.

Stay tuned.

Don't help others because you waste your own time. Yes it is nice, but think if they would help you!

Instances + quests = mass exp.

I never player Wow but basic MMO logic is:
level=killz*exp_per_mob/kill_time
Killz is straightforward just go and kill mob.
Still you have to maximize exp_per_mob and minimize kill time to be really efficient.

Try to do solo quests whenever possible. If there's group quest, try to skip it unless you are confidence enough to solo it. Keep in mind that by trying to solo group quest will waste lots of your time(die, rez, etc).

Gathering proffession is great friend for questing but nv get obssesed with gathering you will waste more time on proffesion instead of leveling.

And with the new dungeon system, i will reccomend to queue yourself whenever possible and no grinding.Dungeons + quests have more exp than grinding. Although i will skip some unpopular dungeons and questings instead. I dun reccomend to spec to tank/heal unless you are almost max level and need the gears for your 2nd spec.

I have ret paly with 2nd spec holy, at 78/79(can't remember) i go mass instances run to collect gears. At 80 it's basically just heroic badges so repect to tank/heal and you will get 5 secs instance invite or 1 min at its worst. Most of the time i just hang around Ah/bank or go gatherings while for the invite. Try to avoid hanging around dalanaar, since it's freaking crowded and i hate it whenever i finish an instance and loading back to a lagfest town(sometimes i DC).
