Seriously i felt i was a victim of biased.. some Crews & people called me unproffesional & just whining.. but did i even asked for an unban? i couldnt share my thoughts & give feedback after my ban period? please, talking about professionalism etc, accusing me of whining & certain personal attack/character attack by power-holding people over here, doesnt seems professional too.. we dont often see judges saying that a complainant or defendant "whining" rite? do people that went to jail before lost all their right to freedom of speech? is my mistake really that big as compared to the other trollers/flamers? i am not asking for preferential treatment, but just FAIR treatment.. all i did was trying to help the teams, then the community & fellow admins by explaining the decision.. & i guess the worst decision i made was actually the decision to explain to the stubborn ppl.. the person who insulted me/myMYM admins repeatedly GOT AWAY WITHOUT PUNISHMENT.. which is smth i couldnt accept, not personally against him but on a fair-treatment basis! i find it hard to believe that my case was handled without bias.. indeed i was quite outspoken against GosuGamers previously as i was too big a fan of myMYM & i noticed Gosugamers indeed have many weaknesses.. but the site improved alot & did i insult the site anymore in recent months? i am even more active here than over there? i even removed my sarcastic Signature about Nuking on the site before i coincidently got banned the next day.. reward for being nice eh? perhaps some ppl really hated to see myMYM tag here  i remember quoting the Changelog of some DotA version where IceFrog mentioned visit myMYM for the revival of smth big(hint for MYM PriDe) den i got Nuked too.. so i couldnt paste a part of changelog? or it was due to the word "myMYM"? Thanks alot for the appreciation shown by Gosugamers by locking me for 7 days +1 extra day after i helped for hours with the IEM Coverage for 2 days.. some1 insulted me on the MYM PriDe grouping & i gave a super long explanation then i kinda asked him to not be a retard, den i got banned 7+1 days  he got away & cont taunt me after he know i was banned.. Thanks for the 300+ Points deduction too.. I thought I shouldve received a Thanks & said Welcome back, but i guess i should be the 1 Thanking u GosuCrews for the long+extended holidays & the best thing it was done by an unknown HoN Crew PS: I am kinda dumbfounded that CN players/forumers dont complain about the Grouping & some are even happy that they can have less lag issues, but people here complaint & insulted MYM PriDe admins without getting any consequences, double standard by GosuCrew eh? on the other hand, some users even complaint about the possible lag issues in RGC's mixed Grouping? double standard by certain users? i starting to be well behaved here.. even removed my provoking signature to GosuCrew as i wanna contribute better to DotA, regardless of sites.. been active in RN, Garena, myMYM, GosuGamers & most actively in SGamer of late.. such luck that the next day i logged in, i was banned.. such irony eh.. haha.. & something to share, NV.cn wouldve FF-ed MYM PriDe if not cause i persuaded/insisted that they stay as a favour to me for helping them in RGC.. this is called trying to eliminate Asians? did u all even know that a few top Asian teams are invited personally by me & other admins as they arent aware of MYM PriDe at the beginning? why would we invite them if we wanna kick them out ASAP? all Asian group admins are Asians/Asian-based too.. do u know how much time we personally spent on helping the busy top Asian teams (especially China teams) to schedule? Thanks alot for the appreciation shown by u guys.. If i gonna get another holiday, so be it.. wont expect much.. & ya i know it's TL:DR  PPS: i would like to Thank you flamers/trollers for making this site interesting too.. | If you flamed back you deserve it. I appreciate your hard work especially during IEM, but that doesn't give you the right to do whatever you want. Maybe Kongo has something against you (like when he posted the news on IEM, when you had like a 100+ post thread going on about the subject, and he seemingly knew everything about the event with google translate and a dictionary, and doesn't even mention you, although TJ did.) |

Youre not allowed to do that in our forums, but you are here; i won´t lock this page. on topic: mym prime defending #12 is your tournament and you are free to decide what you want and what you think is best. the decision to move teams who are located close to each other together is ok as soon as everybody agrees. But you have to accept criticism. You are the staff, its on you to turn your tournament into something special. so silence the criticisers by running a successful tournament and not by flaming back at them. i cant understand, why you let posts like this get to you. #8 i can assure you that your assumption is not true, at the first day of IEM i got up at 4:30 am and headed to sgamer and esl right away for information. i didnt know he covered the event quite well himself at that time Yours sincerely KongoTime |

| @ #8, well yea i did hesitate when i posted it.. but other than a rude word & maybe some others which i couldnt remember, most of the 2 posts are very long explanation for the insulter & other viewers.. i tried to talk to him in a civilized way sans some harsh word.. but.. i got banned.. i am mainly pissed as i wasted so much time trying to explain, got censored, banned & the person got away scot-free then continue to taunt me in the same page.. then as the explanation is nuked, other users couldnt read it & they continued to flame.. wasted my time.. on the other hand, i couldnt create 2nd ID just to answer it as later i may give some ppl a real good reason to ban me permanently for multi-account.. | I really am troubled by the idea that some here have seen fit to lock Danny's account. We know from extensive experience that this is someone who can be worked with reasonably and does not at all intend to drag the discussion into the sewer. We have also seen abuse of power on occasion here, on grounds that involved mods' personal views on controversies, and I had hoped this was all in the past. This is not leading to a good place. |

But you are not allowed to use that fact as a wildcard to beak our rules. When you call somebody a retard or idiot you must expect that you will meet consequences of that behavior. I am aware that we do not punish all of the people who deserve to be punished but that's the result of the fact that you guys write so much, over 100 000 posts and comments every month. And believe me, after some time spent on moderating forums words like "retard" and the most easily noticeable. You have been caught. If you feel like the person who provoked you broke our rules - let me or any other moderator know, make a complain. We will investigate. It is always a better solution. And definitely better than whining in public. How do you expect to be taken serious now? You want professionalism - act professionally by yourself. So a guy who is a massive contributer to online coverage, offline coverage, many comments, helping the pro players on location, etc. has one outburst against rude forumers. It shouldn't happen, but we are human. Now for that he should be banned for a period? | I more than anything bet the average age of gosugamers users to be 16. It's the age where hormones rage and even more people rage hating. Democracy and civil obedience may work in public, but on the internet shroud? Tough. High handed attempts to disable a figure like danny, imho, doesn't work well. What you want is to reward him for his efforts, not punish him like this. Negative reinforcements has never, in my opinion, work well. Positive encouragement? Yes. Technically speaking, I myself have faced criticism when I did game replay approvals for WC3 (melee maps). The remarks of some users are very sharp and pretty much a discouragement (although that's rare, because I tend to pick good ones). This is where you start to fall and break apart because you feel your efforts aren't getting any rewards. And staff members openly writing down to you? Did danny do right in calling other people a retard? No. But to censor him and pull him off 8 days like any other user? Hoo Boy. I mean, if this is how you treat respected community members, then who will join Gosugamers admin? I respect his work, and sure he has done a LOT, but he did not behave very mature, and for that kind we have rules on GosuGamers, which EVERYONE (even the crew itself) has to obtain. In this case, a banning for this outburst seems to indicate that there is something else going on and that the contributions were certainly not taken into consideration in a way that suggests respect. There have been cases just like this before, especially in DotA vs. HoN issues (HoN supporting mods banning masses upon masses of DotA forumers and players). Well, I don't mean to point the finger at anyone in particular. Someone made a decision to ban Danny for the time, and I doubt it was McBat who was following the case closely. I do agree that McBat is a very good mod leader, only acts after genuine consideration, and only bans on the cases clearly involving bad intentions. |
| #33 I assume you don't know what criteria I used to ban users/deny comments in here, back when I was a mod. I tried to be as neutral as I could, if people just didn't comply to the rules - something that happens in here, on an amazing scale - they were locked. This is due to their (in general) inmaturity and inability to have respect towards the rest. This is a very inmature community and everyone's calling each other names all the time. The mods' job is to ensure a good conversation, without offense. Think for yourself, and then accuse me - with evidence, of course - of locking people "randomly", based off my "mood twists". Oh, I would also like to add that I did not only ban people or lock comments but also gladly helped users that needed my help. Well, let's look at the facts closely: 1 - Danny is a major contributor to the site and to the scene! 2 - Danny flamed a troll back, thing that could happen any decent person any given time. 3 - Danny is not justifying his behavior, he explains why he did what he did, and knows it wasn't the best choice. 4 - There are dozens of cases of larger offenses in GG.net, everyday, that are much more important than a decent, dedicated and ever-contributing community member calling a troll (because he IS a troll) a "retard", and caring to explain everything to him afterwards. To the mods: I know you have rules to guide your actions, but, in my opinion, you should take what I wrote ut supra in consideration. Please, bear in mind that every case is different. | @ P13, ya i may be too involved or loved to mix with the community too much that i "lost my direction" & treated myself to be the same like normal users.. it's both my advantage for being "down-to-earth" & also a weakness like what happens now.. but it's just me.. just to share, IMHO name calling by word arent often as bad as a long winding insult which doesnt include any profanities.. i could insult some1's family or intelligence without using the word retard or by designation, doesnt mean that i am not trolling/flaming/insulting some1 rite? he insulted me with long winding speech & i responded with 1 word but he got away & i got banned.. a little hard to take it.. if i am to be prosecuted, he should be too i guess.. There have been cases just like this before, especially in DotA vs. HoN issues (HoN supporting mods banning masses upon masses of DotA forumers and players). not to bring the DotA vs HoN flame but since i am active here, 2 Crews which got me seriously pissed on DotA section indeed seems like supporters of HoN-.- isnt it fairer that just as we shouldnt troll in HoN section, HoN section people shouldnt be given the power on DotA section to prevent biased or personal judgement due to difference in preference? |
