A day after defeat at the hands of an unknown Dutch StarCraft pro-scene coverage/blog/forum community/pancake strudel making website, our GosuGamers.net staff struggles to cope and understand; just what had gone wrong?

Today was a quiet day in the GosuGamers.net staff IRC, no one had dared to speak of last nights long awaited rivalry match between the two behemoth sites. It was a solemn day indeed. As I watched over and over the VODs from last night the only thing that kept running through my head was "ARE YOU SOME KIND OF LEPRECHAUN?"

That wasn't helping. I decided to talk with the two staff members who had won a game just to see if they held the answers. GrooVe was the first champion for our team but sadly was not able to repeat it in subsequent games in 2v2.

: What did you think of your opponent's skills? And what did u think went wrong?
: Well, I didn't know much about my opponent but it seems that...

ESL pioneers 1v1 tournament in Germany

The Electronic Sports League is currently hosting a very interesting new style of DotA tournament!

The 1v1 tournament is being held between 16 German qualifiers who will battle it out for a 1st prize of 100 Euros, with 2nd and 3rd place recieving 75 Euros and 25 Euros respectively.

The mode for the tournament will be -arshom which is sure to be an interesting test of skill, considering no one will be able to know before hand which heros they will be playing.

There are a few specific rules for this tournament (both players can agree to ban the crow, one blademail per player etc.) and before the game starts each player has to add three computer slots to their team to reduce the amount of gold they start with.

Good luck to all those competing and we can only hope this style of tournament catches on in a more international forum!

Team Excello is currently ranked eighth in the TGL WarCraft Premier League with only six points after three matches played. The team is also in the qualifier for WarCraft International Premiership (WCIP).

FuRy: "I feel like playing some leagues again"
- I feel like playing some leagues again and going to some tournaments. I also wanna be part of a team with a nice spirit and build and evolve with it from scratch. Hopefully qualify from some nice leagues later on, says FuRy to GosuGamers.

WC3L. One of today's two matches was played out between the world class teams MeetYourMakers and Mortal Teamwork where the latter came out victoriously with a close 3 against 2 score.

Despite a loss for the Makers they still managed to pass the two 1st placed teams fnatic and World Elite and is now ahead with one single point. What might be found interesting about the results is that the two Orc's played in this match (Grubby and WhO) both came out with a solid 2:0 score while the rest of the games were not as definite and rounded up as a 2:1 score for either team.

SocceR can only be found in the 2 on 2 team of MYM as it seems like the Undead companions Lucifer and Susiria are making a great attempt to step up their game once again after a time of slumber. Today, however, they did not manage to do their job and instead had to rely on getting an extra point from the 2 on 2.
