Moscow 5's LoL roster is created in December 2011, just one month before IEM VI Kiev, after the team acquires the members of Team Empire.
Although new on the already well-established European scene, Moscow 5 storm in with their signature aggressive style and previously unseen counter-ganking activity and start slaying one powerhouse after the other. In the course of 2012, they would become two times IEM champions, finish second at DreamHack Summer and win the S2WC European regionals. Qualifying into the S2WC Grand Finals playoffs, Moscow 5 end up beating Invictus Gaming before falling to eventual champions Taipei Assassins to finish top four in the world.
One of the very if not the only major team to have never suffered any roster changes, Moscow 5 are widely considered to be the best on the continent.
For a brief time period in the start of 2013, the roster was released by Moscow Five, but picked up pretty quickly by Gambit Gaming.
