Online Prodigy Jose “Girah” Macedo Joins Lock Poker

Unknown to the online poker community just a few months ago, 18 year-old Jose "Girah" Macedo has been signed to a sponsorship deal at Lock Poker.

The Portuguese Macedo was an unknown entity a couple months ago when word spread on poker forums of an 18 year-old who had amassed a $2 million bankroll from a $30 investment in today's current tough playing environment in record time.
“Jose is young, brilliant and incredibly determined. He is putting a new face, age and goal to this game,” said Jennifer Larson CEO and Owner of Lock Poker. “He will be heavily involved in developing the product, marketing and brand in the coming months. His story is one of determination to a degree that is just unparalleled and unrivaled.”
Macedo has been actively promoting himself in interviews since he became public. He is an engaging personality that is quite frank about his background and the path of taking $30 and turning it into $2 million. He has received coaching from many established high stakes stars like Dan ‘jungleman12’ Cates and Ben "Sauce123" Sulsky.

Macedo will be joining Eric “Rizen” Lynch, Matt “Allinat420″ Stout and Brett “Gank” Jungblut as Lock Elite pros.
Commenting on his recent sponsorship deal, Macedo said: “I am determined to be the best player in the world so I wanted to make sure I partnered with the best poker brand. Lock’s focus on the player experience is unique and inspiring and something I truly wanted to associate myself with. I encourage anyone to come and challenge me on Lock, and look forward to the exciting times ahead.”
