EDG came into the week with a vengeance.  Having been surpassed consistently by OMG, the "super team" wanted to climb back to the top and their early aggression would prove their desire for quick wins.  U's Zed brought amazing control to their team and they were able to dominate the battlefield.

LGD did a good job at keeping up in towers, but EDG were able to control the rest of the map including the enemy buffs.  At around 16 minutes in, EDG were able to steal LGD's blue buff over the wall, further pressing their lead.  EDG greatly improved their warding from previous weeks, making sure LGD couldn't follow rotations.

24 minutes in, EDG was up 11-3 and nearly 10,000 gold, but still were not too far behind in towers.  That would change as EDG split push the sidelanes and shoved mid, applying pressure everywhere and splitting the defensive force of LGD. After a few picks from LGD, EDG were able to contest baron, but Styz was able to steal it with a boomerang blade.

This didn't change the fact that EDG were very far ahead and had an insurmountable item advantage, allowing them to win fights and take LGD out in the first game.

ClearLove once again dominating with map pressure and managed to grab first blood again, but fell behind this time which resulted in a not so massive gold lead after first blood and the first dragon going to EDG.  After this, the game was very snowbally and EDG managed to rampage off their early lead.  ClearLove showed clear signs as to why he desperately needs high pressure junglers to be banned out for him.

ClearLove had 100% kill participation towards EDG's 4-0 lead 13 minutes in.  EDG continued to rampage through the opposition.  The game mirrored the first game in that LGD were able to keep up in towers, but didn't stand a chance in fighting.

From here, EDG decisively walked from lane to lane to reign terror. Styz ended up picking up a Sword of the Occult in an attempt to snowball the game in the opposite direction but to no avail.  At 20 minutes in, EDG were already knocking at the inhibitor towers.  It wasn't long before EDG were able to pull a 20 minute surrender off a weak looking LGD.

  VS

A traditional lane swap went off as Positive Energy desperately tried to find a win after their prior loss. Both teams were instantly capable of bringing down the first two towers.  Ruo took the initial advantage with superior jungle presence, killing off Aluka solo.

Afterwards, the game was relatively passive for the next few minutes with both teams farming up, but World Elite finding advantages in most lanes outside of top.  Ycc farmed up a bit while Ruo focused more on finding a pick.  Positive Energy played hoping their patience could pay off, but World Elite stayed ahead in gold.

Both teams stayed even in towers and the game was wrapping up in the same way as the previous set where the leading team shoved the side lanes and warded up the enemy jungle.  The saving grace from World Elite would be Caomei getting caught out about 20 minutes in, but by this time, World Elite were already 2  towers up.

Due to Ruo being up 5-0 as twenty minutes, it was almost as if World Elite had a third solo laner, which made it nearly impossible for Positive Energy to find an advantage in a teamfight.  Positive Energy's team comp weakness was very apparent the further they fell behind.  Eventually, they lost complete control, which meant both sets were closed out 2-0 to end the sixth week of the LPL.
