Babar how are you, have you followed Dreamhack Winter12?

Hello, I’m fine. Yes, I have watched Dreamhack.

How would you rate the outcome of the tournament, seeing as No Tidehunter surprised almost everyone?

I was not surprised because nTh have been practicing really hard lately, whereas other teams have not been taking this tournament as seriously as nTh and the result showed it.

Kaipi roster:
Germany Roman 'rmn-' Paley
Serbia Jovan 'Tzar' Dragasevic
Sweden Johan 'pieliedie' Åström
Lebanon Rani 'BABAR' Al Hajj
Sweden Dante 'wall-eater' Rönlund

Has your team been in any of the online Dreamhack qualifiers or was travelling to Jönköping never an option?

Yes we have played in one of the qualifiers but only as practice. Realistically, we knew we could not travel there as we lacked financial support.

There is still room for improvement
You are however in Gosuleague's Division 1. How would you rate your team's performance in the last season?

When paS and Fata- joined our team last season, we started practicing a lot. And when we played our first couple of games, we thought the games would be really hard. yet, after playing the games, we felt relieved since our communication and teamwork were really improving. Overall, I think we did really well considering this was our first major online tournament. However, there is stilll room for improvement.

At the end of the season, you were in a draw with Na'Vi and allowed them to play with two stand-ins, even though both of them were not eligible. Do you regret that decision, seeing as you lost the games?

No, I don’t.

You mentioned paS and Fata-. Both of them left now and you replaced them with wall-eater and rmn-. How would you rate your current performance?

I am much more satisfied with the current squad's performance. We have been practicing a lot lately, and everything seems to be working out great.

Do you feel confident then that your team can once again place at the top of GosuLeague?

Yes I feel that with hard work and dedication we can achieve last season's result and maybe even better.

We won't disturb our rhythm but enforce it.

This season will last until January. Do you think the break over New Year's could disturb your rhythm or do you plan on practicing non-stop?

I don’t know yet whether we will practice non-stop on New Year's. But if we do we we wont disturb our rhythm but enforce it.

Is there anything you'd like to change about the GosuLeague format, or are you happy as it is?

No, I’m satisfied with the GosuLeague format. I would even prefer if other tournaments would adopt the GosuLeague format.

Let's talk a bit about you: What do you do when you aren't playing Dota 2?

I go to University, I go to lan and chill with my friends. And I try to make time for Sports. But that hasn't been working out much lately *grins*.

My friends are supportive and encourage me
Happens to many people *grins*. How do your friends and family think about the fact that you play Dota 2 competitively?

Well, my family isn't too supportive, they think it's a waste of time since I could commit to my University more, but most of my friends are supportive and encourage me to do what I love.

How long are you planning on playing competitively then?

I plan on playing competitively untill TI5*smiles*
Realistically, I don't plan on quitting anytime soon.

You are your teams core support player. Is it however your favorite role or would you like to play something else as well?

We recently changed roles, and now I occupy the offlane position and Tzar now occupies the core support role.

And do you feel more comfortable this way?

Yes, this was a role that I had already played in DotA with FM, so I just need to brush up my offlane skills.

I'm a huge fan of Burning.
Is there any player you idolize when it comes to playstyle?

I used to really admire HyHy back in the DotA days, now I'm a huge fan of Burning.

Looking back on your career so far, what's the fondest moment you can think of?

The fondest moment definitely would be, when I was playing in FM with my Lebanese friends. It was an experience I will never forget.

Can you see yourself playing with them again?

I don't think so since most of the FM players have moved on to studies and work.

I hope ... we can compete with the very best of the world.
What do you think can you achieve with Kaipi?

I hope we can win some lan tournament soon and compete with the very best of the world.

I hope you will! Thank you for the interview, any shoutouts?
