TSM Win Fragbite Masters Season 4

Team SoloMid comfortably took down Fnatic in only four maps in their title match for Season 4 of the Fragbite Masters. Cologne 2015 to be Valve Sponsered

 

Valve has revealed that they will be financing the prize pool for the upcoming ESL One Cologne, with a total of a $250,000 up for grabs for the sixteen teams that qualify for the event. In addition, ESL has revealed that they will be tweaking the qualifier format for the event: instead of having one large qualifer, they will instead decide teams through regional qualifers in Europe, North America, and Asia in addition to the eight invites from the previous year. 

 

CS:GO to return to Intel Extreme Masters

For the first time since 1.6, Counter Strike will return to Intel Extreme Masters for the tenth season, joining League of Legends and Starcraft II in events all around the world. 

Michal Blicharz, Managing Director of Pro Gaming at ESL had following to say:

The success and the legacy of the Intel Extreme Masters was partly built on Counter-Strike and it’s a great feeling to go into the tenth season of the circuit with CS:GO back in it. Adding a third game makes this IEM season the largest in years!

 

Acer Signs Ex-3DMAX

The former-3DMAX women's team have been teamless since the dismantlying of the organization, but it has now been announced Acer will be signing the team in additional to their men's squad. The lineup had great results under their former organization, taking first place at the most recent ESWC Women's event.

 

Killerfish accused of Matchfixing

The German CS team Killerfish eSports have been put under scrutiny once again this week as rumors emerged online that multiple CSGL accounts were found to be max betting on the team's matches with 100% accuracy; as a result, Killerfish matches will no longer be hosted on Lounge.
