Raistlin: It will be a pleasure playing an opponent like Moletrap

After a long waiting we finally managed to hunt down Raistlin for that pre-showgame interview we've all been longing for. Enjoy!

Raistlin! How come you decided to play this match versus SC2GG but not versus TL last year?
- I think it's because I've found my way back to StarCraft and the joy of it. I have been following the scene more closely the recent months, and I've been playing much more than I used to do.

It's a tough thing to keep up with when you're the head administrator of a site the calibre of GosuGamers. We have two more sections, and we have a lot of crew members and loads of other things to take care of. But for now I think I've found a nice way for my playing and my working to co-exist.

What do you know about our oponent, Moletrap?
- Only thing I know about Moletrap is that he is a skilled shoutcaster and that he plays Zerg. I've seen some of his casts, and I enjoy them very much. It will be a pleasure playing an opponent like him.

He was very surprised when he heard he was going to face you, such a big face from GosuGamers, do you think it might work in your favour?
- Haha, I don't think my name will bring him that many chills up his spine, so I don't think that would work that much in my favour. Everyone who's seen me play know my skill level, and for a guy like me, who's been playing this game for so many years (on and off), it's not a spine-chilling experience. At least not from my opponent's side - usually.

What do you think about our lineup this time, do you know any of our other players in a gaming sense?
- I have played with the majority of them, and I believe marCoon, LoC and LML will do exceptionally well. And for those of you who don't recognize our 2on2 couple, we brought them in all the way from the WarCraft section. And ArivO has Korean blood, so I'm hoping he'll bring forth his inherited A-game.

How have you been preparing for this? I hear you've taken in the golden boy of the Swedish national team, datoby as your personal trainer, is that true?
- Hehe, yeah, that's true. He's a friend of mine and he gave me a few tips and tricks on how to play the matchup on Python. I've also been playing a couple of games each day, and have been watching some replays in order to not totally embarrass myself.

But Python's a pretty old map, it hasn't been used in the Korean progaming leagues for over a year, so it was hard to find nice matches played out on it.

Okay, is there anything else you want to share - or perhaps tell the SC2GG staff - before we end this?
- I would like to say thank you to all of the dedicated people contributing to GosuGamers, GosuCrew or not: you're awesome. A special thanks to my partner in crime, Jonatan "Mazor" Littke who's been with me in good times and bad.
