The first category that WoL won is Outstanding Achievement in Online Game Play where it bested Halo: Reach, CoD: Black Ops, Bad Company 2 and Assassin's Creed 2: Brotherhood.
The second gold for StarCraft 2 comes in the Strategy/Simulation Game of the Year category with the other four games being Dawn of War II: Chaos Rising, Civilization V, Supreme Commander 2 and Toy Soldiers.
Blizzard RTS was nominated in two more categories which it failed to win: Outstanding Character Performance regarding Tychus Findley (winner being Red Dead Redemption) and Outstanding Achievement in Original Music Composition (won by Heavy Rain).
