News Outside Starcraft

[s]blizzard[/s]Ever wonder why so many employees left Blizzard after they were bought by Vivendi? I really wondered why anyone would want to leave Blizzard. Well the reasons are simple: more freedom to work on new projects and better salaries. Searching around I found perhaps another reason that made me smile in mild amusement. Over time swindling?

Neil Aitken, a programmer from Vivendi's Knowledge Adventure division is suing Vivendi for lack of payment of his over time hours and other damages. He claims that Vivendi Universal managers have demanded that programmers make false entries to their time sheets, thus hiding the real amount of hours worked. He also claims this activity had been going on since February 2000.

They have a good sence of smell these Blizzard employee's afterall, they smell a ill tidings miles away.
