TSL2: Current Standings

It's been a little over 24 hours since our last TSL update, time for another one

.

IdrA is still at the top, the first player to break 10000 points on his way to A. MaNa moved from 4th to 2nd, Ret, who is back with eSTRO dropped back to 12th, although he didn't play any more games since his last session.

New faces start to emerge in top 10 as the days go by. Dimaga and White-Ra, the Ukrainian duo, skyrocketed into top 10, latter with very solid win-lose ratio. Castro appeared out of nowhere and took 9th. Yayba and Mondi both with less than 10 losses settled in the middle.

At this very moment a lot of big names are missing, including some of WCG finalists: Kolll, A2, Draco just to name a few.

If you've watched Artosis interview Ret, they touched on the subject on TSL, both predict that 30-40 players will reach A-, so expect the real massacre in B+/A- range. Interestingly enough both think that Kolll, the hero of WCG who vanquished IdrA 2-0, is too green to pull of such a major win as TSL, let's hope he proves them wrong.

Looking beyond top 30 we find Strelok, G5, Nyoken and many more. In fact the whole TSL group is just 5 players shy of 1200 players. Interestingly enough, Tasteless, who will be casting the playoffs alongside Artosis, is also participating, but not doing to well at the moment, as he's outside the top 50.

As you know only the top 48 players will quality for playoffs and a chance to grab a slice of $22.000 StarCraft Pie. So, if you want to be one of them - get cracking, cause it's getting way too competitive down there.
