The 2016 Ladder Season 1 is about to end, and the ladders have now been locked to establish the final placements this season.
With Ladder Season 2 coming up, Blizzard has now officially locked the laddering system. Players would still be able to play through their bonus pools and rank up within their respective divisions, but they can neither be promoted nor demoted from their respective leagues.
The ranked ladder system will resume on March 28, 2016, the start of Season 2. More info about the hidden elo ratings that would remain operational throughout the lockdown can be found here.
Also, do not forget to take advantage of the free name change that comes at the start of every ladder season.
