StarCraft II WCS Championship to take place in France

The Spring World Championship Series is set to take place in Tours, France, as part of the DreamHack ZOWIE Open.

For its second consecutive year, DreamHack returns to Tours, France, where the StarCraft II Spring World Championship Series will take place from May 14th to May 16th. DreamHack promises to make the upcoming Championship bigger than ever offering a prize pool of $150,000 and a cut of the 11,000 WCS Circuit points. The big winner will earn a direct seed into the WCS Global Playoffs. The Championship will have the format of single elimination with best-of-five matches and a grand final best-of-seven series.

Exciting action is expected, since rivals like Lilbow, Dayshi, MarineLorD, and Firecake will seek to dethrone PitDrogo, who took the first event of the year in Leipzig. If you want to attend DreamHack in person, make sure to check the DreamHack France Official Website. However, if you cannot make it all the way to France, you can watch the livestream of the event here.
