All 28 players who will be going to the United States for IEM New York have been revealed. The second stop in the eighth edition of the premier circuit is coming to streams October 10-13.
As we informed earlier, IEM New York will have a three-stage format similarly to other recent IEM editions. Stage 1 consists of two eight-man double elimination brackets, the top two of which advance to Stage 2. The latter is a four groups of four players dual tournament format and once again the top two from each pool gets seeded into the next round. Stage 3 is in the form of a single elimination bracket, the winner of which will be awarded $10,000.
The 16 players for stage one provide a good mix of Korean and American players with a pinch of European presence. The line-up waiting to be distributed to the double elimination brackets is the following:
