StarTale's Terran Choi "Bomber" Ji Sung raised the WCS Season 2 trophy after a crushing victory over EG's Lee "Jaedong" Jae Dong with 4-0. This is Bomber's first gold medal since 2011 MLG Raleigh, exactly two years back.

While his quarter and semi final matches went both into games five, his grand final performance was nothing of the sort and looked more like the domination he exerted during the group stage. Catching Jaedong after a tournament run with ZvPs only, Bomber was able to execute him in just four games, combining his standard marine/mine/medivac streams of units with an old-school triple bunker rush on Planet S and a combat shields push on Whirlwind, giving Jaedong absolutely no chance of making a stand.
While it's a day of triumph for Bomber who's been waiting for a big win since 2011, it's another day of finishing second for EG's Tyrant, whose silved medal comes after the ones at DreamHack Summer and Valencia and WCS America Season 2.
