Voice Recording for Legacy of the Void has begun

WCS America's Grand Finals had another treat for Starcraft fans all around: Robery Clotworthy, voice of Jim Raynor, made several announcements regarding the expansion Legacy of the Void.

Yesterday during WCS America's Grand Finals event Robert Clotworthy, voice of the celebrated character Jim Raynor, made an announcement regarding the state of the Legacy of the Void expansion set. During an interview with Joshua “Clutch” Gray, Clotworthy stated that the story has already been written and a large portion of the cinematics have been finished. He also mentioned that a couple weeks ago they began recording the voicework as well.

Clotworthy: So about a week and a half ago, we were in the studio with a couple of the other actors, and we started to work on it. So hopefully we’ll have it out not in a distant future.

Clutch: You announced that Legacy of the Void - you started work on it.

Clotworthy: That was a special surprise. I don’t think anybody knows we were actually at the studio. There’s been a lot of speculation as to where the game was, and I wanted to let fans know that the story has already been written, a lot of the cinematics have been done, and the voice actors are in the studio and working on it now.

When asked what he thought about the story, Clotworthy had this to say:  "I have seen the story, and I’m telling you - there are some surprises, some twists, some turns."

"It's going to be really exciting," he continued, while Clutch added that, “'the Protoss will be unleashed'” - that’s Chris Metzen’s words for Legacy of the Void.

The interview concluded with Clotworthy making another exciting announcement: the WCS Season 3 Finals will take place in Toronto, Canada in October. It's no surprise that with WCS in NASL's hands, the organization is going back to its spawning grounds.
