Two weeks before the grand final of the hybrid SK Planet Proleague, it's time to look back to the first two rounds of the playoffs and enjoy a spoonful of high-tier Brood War and StarCraft 2 matches.

Round 1 saw defending champions SK Telecom T1 trampling Team 8 with two 2-0's. This was largely thanks to Bisu and Best, both of who were of utmost importance to SKT's success, winning the BroodWar Bo3 in week one and the SC2 Bo3 in week one.

With two convincing victories in their pocket, SKT had an avalanche of a momentum but they just could not get past CJ Entus who were their next opponents. In both series there was the same scenario of SKT convincingly owning the Brood War Bo3 but losing the SC2 series as well as the ace match. Not even the highly praised Rain could stop hero[join] and the talented CJ protoss scored three wins for his team, sending it to the grand finals against Samsung KHAN, who are scheduled for September 22nd.

This is the first time in many years that the Proleague will not have SKT in the finals and the KHAN vs CJ Entus match comes to break the long series of SKT vs KT Rolster rivalries. In twelve days time, the StarCraft community will learn which is the team that can play both games the best!
