The two-times GSL champion and winner of multiple international events Min-Chul "MC" Jang has announced his departure from team Old Generations. The "God Protoss" will now be a full time member of SK Gaming.
MC partnered up with the foreign based team in July 2011 along with fellow Korean Nada to represent the organization at foreign events but remained a dedicated member of his original team Old Generations until today, January 12th.
The Korean protoss is thus far the sole full-time progamer of SK Gaming, who were not in a possession of a dedicated StarCraft 2 team since they released their roster consisting of players like MadFrog and Jimpo on July 4th last year. MC carries alongside him numerous achievements, the most recent being first place at HomeStory Cup 4 and a top four at the Blizzard Cup.
SK.MC:
First of all I am really happy that I am a full member of SK Gaming. I think it is a big opportunity for me and a good start for 2012. I will work hard for SK and do my best for my new organization. I will try to bring good results for SK.

Team manager SK.reis:
MC is already a legend of SC2 thanks to his accomplishments already, winning GSL titles etc. Now we hope he can increase his legendary status as an SK player and help create some of those epic moments in our uniform both in Korea and the rest of the world. I'd like to take a moment to say thanks to oGs for participating in our great cooperation with us and NaDa, who I had a great time with.
MC has already done a great job as a representative for SK, winning Copenhagen Games and HomeStoryCup IV, so we're looking forward to supporting him in Korea as well, as he fights to try and win a third GSL title. MC is good friend of mine so this move makes sense for everyone. Let's have a great year together MC and SK fans!

SK Gaming further state that MC has already moved out of the oGs training house and that the oGs-SK cooperation has come to an end. MC will get the chance to defend the colors of his new team for the first time come the Ro16 of GSL 2012 season 1.

I never really cared about the teams since SC is such an individual game..
Why don't they just call it what most foreign teams really are, sponsorship. They aren't teams, they just pay individuals to have them wear their tag. No doubt MC won't be competing in any team leagues for SK.
#3 SK is actually a Team, so I think that's why. They just don't have a SC2 roster.
whaaaaat... Ex-Brood War progamers will join SKGaming soon. I'm calling it right now. This must be the only explaination
i dont think this deal is good for bosstoss at all. he lacks of practice with team house environment and practice partners. maybe because sk offered him a good amount of money???
SK is famous from way back to pick up the most "skilled" players and just run over pretty much every team out there. Since SK is pretty much non-existent they will just buy new players and rise up again. I never thought they would start this fast and with korean players. I'm pretty sure 1 or 2 more is joining SK and is koreans (that's what i heard from some sources). The only thing is that MC will perhaps lose a few practice partners from oGs house and koreans. IF SK buys a gaming house which will rock the world that could help MC quite a bit.
NOOOO OGS :(
Weird move. Especially because he is moving out of oGs-house and will live by himself... So he's currently the only player for SK in the sc2 section... I really dont understand. Lets see weather or not they will fetch some more players/koreans. What was wrong with oGs? Since there was a deal with SK anyways, which is now solved in his acid-decision.
Come on guys, use your common sense, MC isn't stupid, SK will of course buy other players. He won't be alone without anybody to practice with.
Now, beg madfrog to comeback and u have urself the first foreign gslwinner!
#11 MadFrog already came back, and did under every expectations. He was in SK, and he left some time ago, last year.
so oGs and SK had an agreement? of SK joining up stealing MC then leaving?? i dont like this at all number1 skMC looks terrible and being on a solo team is hard unless ur the king of orcs.
what about oGs-SK player NaDa?
why not joing liquid... -.- they're at least a team and he could stay at the house.
I am pretty sure SK has something planned and it's not just gonna be him, so I am not worried at all. Give it some time and we will see what reis pulls out of his sleeves :)
seems like sc2 clan compention will be more and more like it was in wc3, 1.europeans buy every korean 2. 3.Profit
I like how people are using the term "buy players" in eSports. We are growing fast!
In war3 you could see Koreans taking part in weekly tournaments as well, here even top EU don't bother anymore, let alone MC. I mean if you look at craftcup, go4sc2 lately they are empty from the bigger names. With Craftcup's prizepool it is explainable, but ESL's too, like Seinheiser etc. But it's nice for here, though will be more in Europe or more in US.
Can somebody tell me about how much money these korean progamers receive [per month] as salary? Thanks.
thats.. interesting.. hmm
I think he couldn't bear not watching Nada... I heard he had a pretty good body and ... oh nevermind.
